Birds Group started its journey in the realm of garment sector in 1984 with its first unit Birds Garments Limited with two woven production lines with a small capacity unit. Today the group owns 5 units with total production capacity of 1 million pieces per month for woven products and around 3.5 million pieces knit products per month depending on Style. Total turnover of the Group is around US$ 90 million per annum. In 2016 the Group has expanded its production capacity to cover the market demand by adding a new factory named AZM Style Wear Ltd. In 2018 the group has built also a new 6 storied building in Momin Nagar, Gorai, Mirzapur. This New facility is run by all automatic machines to increase production efficiency and quality. This facility is also complying with all compliance and environment friendly issues. It also applied for Lead certification. This unit has knit and woven production capability.

History
Birds Group has its roots from an engineering and construction company. It has started its journey in 1975 as Civil and General Constructors Ltd. (CGC). Within a couple of years, the company had a rapid growth. To comply with the growth and activities it expanded its wings to cover the necessity. It also build-up a number of companies to look after diversified areas. Luba Prokaushali Sangstha Ltd. was incorporated in 1980, initially to handle import of CGC’s construction material. Luba’s current sphere of specialization embraces representation of overseas manufacturers/ project developers as their local associates. Birds Air Transport Ltd. (BAT) was set up in 1986 to recruit and export manpower. The group is also operating and developing agro business.
